ObjectiveTo observe the effects of traditional Chinese medicine guizhifuling (GZFL) extracture on immunity in endometriosis (EMT) rats. MethodsEndometriosis rat models were made by autograft of endometrium in abdomen. 36 rats were randomised into the control group, the model group and the test group. The test group (n=13) were given 1 mL·(100 g)-1 of GZFL extracture (0.08 g·mL-1 ) i.g., the model group (n=13) and the control group (n=10) were given 1 mL·(100 g)-1 of water for 4 wk. The seroglobulin IgG, IgA, IgM in each rat were assayed by ELISA and CD+3, CD+4, CD+8 and CD+4/ CD+8 in peripheral blood were assayed by indirect immunofluorescenece. ResultsThe seroglobulin levels of IgG, IgA, IgM in the model group were significantly higher than that of in the control group (P<0.01). The seroglobulin levels of IgG, IgA, IgM in the test group were significantly lower than that of in the model group (P<0.01). CD+3, CD+4, CD+4/CD+8 in the peripheral blood in the model group were significantly lower than that of in the control group, and CD+8 in the model group were higher than in the control group. CD+3, CD+4, and CD+4/ CD+8 in the test group were higher, but CD+8 was lower (P<0.01). ConclusionThere were shown to that EMT may loose the immunity balance. Traditional Chinese medicine GZFL extracure can regulate the immune function, which may be one of its mechanisms how to effect the endometriosis.
