Objective:To study the condition influenced on the growth of callus of compothecine acuminata decaisne and the production of camptothecin. Method:Based on the various culture medium used in inducing and sub-culture of camptotheca callus, cells were cultivated in suspension, the embryoid was differentiated and thin-layer chromatogram was applied to detect the camptothecin. Results:The most suitable culture medium was B5, and the additional growth regulators were 1.0 mg8226;L-1NAA and KT 0.1 mg8226;L-1 Conclusion:There was correlation between the embryoid differentiated by tissue cuture and the biosynthesis of camptothecin.
Objective: To study the effect of fubaodangguijiao(FBDJ) on ovaries and uterus of anovulation mice induced by testosterone. Method: The mice model of anovulation was induced by injecting testosterone. After administered FBDJ for two weeks, the mice ovaries and uterus were taken out and observed. Results: In the model of anovulation mice, the weight of ovaries and uterus decreased signifcantly. But the weight in FBDJ group increased in certain way. In the FBDJ group the number of atresic follicles and cystoid follicles decreased; normal follicle and corpus lutein increased; the normal follicle area was enlarged; the uterus glands and endometrium grew by morphology check. The action decreased while the dose increased. Conclusion:Suitable FBDJ dose can alleviate the level of pathological changes of ovaries and uterus induced by testosterone in mice
Objective:To study the protective effects of glucoside tripterygium total on inflammatory injury in ulcerative colitis rats. Methods: Rat colitis model was induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid (TNBS). Forty rats were randomised into 4 groups: normal group(untreated), model group, control group and treatment group. The rats in control group were given 2 mL sodium chloride solution by stomach, and the treatment group 40 mg•kg-1 dissolved in 2 mL sodium chloride solution. The iNOS protein expression in colon tissue was examined by immunohistochemistry. The NO and myeloperoxidase (MPO) levels of the mucosa were detected, the macroscopical and histological changes of the colon were checked. Results:In the model group the expression of iNOS, the levels of NO and MPO was higher than that of the normal group and the control group(P<0.01). In the treatment group, the expression of iNOS, the levels of NO and MPO were lower than that in model group(P<0.01); also the macroscopical and histological changes were better than that in model group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Glucoside tripterygium total have protective effects on ulcerative colitis in rats by inhibiting the production of NO and iNOS.
