    Objective The variety on distribution and metabolism between aerosol inhalation and intramuscular injection of interferonα1b(IFNα1b) in rabbits were studied.The priority of IFNα1b administration via aerosol inhalation was investigated. Methods The IFNα1b was labeled with iodine125 and new Zealand white rabbits were used.The 125I-IFNα1b was administered via aerosol inhalation, with intramuscular injection as control.Blood was collected at different time and drug concentration in blood was detected by Gamma counter, the drug distribution in different part of lung and metabolic tissues like liver and kidney was imaged by in vivo imaging system and detected by Gamma counter. Results The drug concentration was higher and drug residence time was longer in lung after administered via aerosol inhalation than those with intramuscular injection.The blood drug concentration reached maximum after being administered for 8 hours, and which significantly prolonged.But the drug concentration in kidney was kept at low level within detected time. Conclusion The interferonα1b administered via aerosol inhalation keeps higher drug concentration in lung and longer circulation time in body, comparing with the conventional intramuscular injection, which suggests that the aerosol inhalation may be a more effectively administered way for treating lung disease.

    Objective To study effects of leukotriene receptor antagonist montelukast on the expression of mucoprotein Muc5ac in lung and IL13 secretion in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of asthmatic mice and investigate the possible mechanism. Methods Eighteen BALB/c mice were randomly divided into the control, asthmatic model and montelukast groups, 6 mice in each group.The expressions of Muc5ac protein in lung were detected by immunohistochemical assay.Interleukin-13 level in BALF were analyzed via ELISA. Results The Muc5ac expression in asthmatic group(0.572±0.028)was significantly upregulated compared with control group (0.137±0.041,P<0.01).Muc5ac protein in the montelukast treated group (0.497±0.054) was evidently lower than that of the asthmatic group(P<0.05).The level of IL-13 in BALF in the asthmatic group(78.07±6.78) pg.mL-1 was obviously increased compared with the control group(28.58±12.98) pg.mL-1 ,P<0.01, while, which in the montelukast group(51.2±3.53) pg.mL-1 was distinctly lower than that of the asthmatic group (P<0.01).Muc5ac protein expression was positively correlated to the level of IL-13(r=0.861,P<0.05). Conclusion Montelukast plays a therapeutic role in mucus hypersecretion of asthmatic airway, which is associated with down-regulation of Muc5ac and IL-13.

    Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the preventive and therapeutic effect of thymoquinone against oxidative stress and hepatic injury after biliary ligation in rats. Methods A total of 32 Sprague–Dawley rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control, model control, low-dose and high-dose thymoquinone groups.Each group contained 8 animals.The rats in thymoquinonetreated groups were given with thymoquinone (25 or 50 mg.kg-1 body weight) orally for 2 weeks starting 3 days prior to bile duct ligation.The content of hydroxyproline (HP), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase(GPx) in hepatic tissues was determined.Histopathological examination of liver was carried out. Results Thymoquinone treatment significantly decreased the elevated HP content, and MDA levels and raised the lowed level of SOD, and GPx enzymes in the tissues (P<0.05).Thymoquinone attenuated necrosis and inflammatory infiltration in the livers of rats with bile duct ligation. Conclusion The present study demonstrates that oral administration of thymoquinone in bile duct ligated rats maintains antioxidant defenses and reduces liver oxidative damage of body, which may be useful in pretecting liver function of cholestasis.

    Objective To analyze the oxcarbazepine metabolite (MHD) blood serum concentration in children with epilepsy. Methods The concentration of active metabolites (MHD) was detected by highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method.The chromatographic column was Inertsil ODS3 (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm), mobile phase was methanol: water (45:55), flow rate was at 1 mL.min-1, and detection wavelength was at 225 nm. Results Among the data of blood serum concentration detection for MHD of 217 cases, 65.0% of them were within the therapeutic window, 35.0% showed lower blood serum concentrations. Conclusion The individual variation in blood serum concentrations of MHD in children with epilepsy administered with oxcarbazepine is high, therefore monitoring the blood serum concentration is helpful to adjust the dose of medication and to promote the implementation of the individualized dosing regimens.

    Objective To explore the antibacterial effect of shuanghuanglian oral liquid combining with gentamicin in vitro against staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa . Methods The MIC of shuanghuanglian oral liquid or gentamicin against Staphylococcus aureus or Pseudomonas aeru ginosa was detected by a microamount dilution method.The antibacterial activity of shuanghuanglian oral liquid combining with gentamicin was determined by a chessboard dilution method and was assessed according to FIC index. Results These MIC values of shuanghuanglian oral liquid against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were 46.88 mg.mL-1 and 375 mg.mL-1,respectively, those of gentamicin against Staphylococcus aureusps and pseudomonas aeruginosa were 0.25 U.mL-1 and 1 U.mL-1, respectively.The FIC indexes of shuanghuanglian oral liquid combining with gentamicin against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were all 0.56. Conclusion The antibacterial effect of shuanghuanglian oral liquid combining with gentamicin against Staphylococcus aureus or Pseudomonas aeruginosa is added via an antimicrobial susceptibilities test.

    Objective To investigate the drug resistance of fungi isolated from our hospital, so as to provide evidence for reasonable use of antibiotics. Methods The sensitive tests of fungi of clinical isolated strain were taken by ATB-F3 method. Results Among 4 398 fungi, the top three were Candida albicans(75.81%), Candida tropicalis (19.42%), Torulopsis glabrata(1.55%); the nonCandida albicans isolated was in upward trend every year.All the five antibiotics had high susceptibility to Candida albicans.However, the resistance to fluconzole and itraconazole of Candida albicans increased year by year.For Candida tropicalis and Torulopsis glabrata, the three pyrroles antibiotics showed high drug resistance(7.4%-65.2%).Nevertheless, the resistance to Amphotericin B and 5-fluorocytosine was low(0%-7%). Conclusion The pyrroles antibiotics should be used with caution for the nonCandida albicans infection.Amphotericin B and 5fluorocytosine show high sensitivity to the three main Candida.

    Objective To explore the variation of menstrual patterns of patients who suffered from adenomyosis after the treatment with levonorgestrel via intrauterine releasing system. Methods Seventy patients with adenomyosis who were inserted with levonorgestrelreleasing intrauterine system were selected.The variation of menstrual patterns was assessed through menstrual blood loss method and dysmenorrhea scoring at beginning and 1, 3, 6, 9 months after insertion. Results Sixtyfive patients completed followup, which accounted for 92.9%.Menstrual blood volume of baseline and 1,3,6,9 months after therapy was (193.03±134.79), (21.08±32.13), (5.56±7.16), (2.13±4.28), (1.51±2.89), respectively.Compared to the baseline, the menstrual blood volume and blood clot of the patients were significantly decreased at 1,3,6,9 months after treatment.The dysmenorrhea score of 27 patients at the same time point was 1.85±0.82 (priorinsertion), 0.48±0.51 (one month postinsertion), 0.13±0.34 (three months postinsertion), 0 (six months postinsertion), respectively, and the dysmenorrheal normally occurred after vaginal ring operation was obviously relieved after insertion. Conclusion Levonorgestrelreleasing intrauterine system displays good therapeutic effect on improving the menstrual patterns of patients with adenomyosis.

    Objective To compare the efficacy and sideeffects of sufentanil with fentanyl at equivalent dose for postoperative patientcontrolled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) after gynecologic surgery. Methods The total of 400 patients undergoing gynecologic surgery were recruited in this randomized double blind study to receive either intravenous sufentanil at 0.5 μg.mL-1 (group SF) or fentanyl at 5μg.mL-1 (group F) for PCIA.Pain intensity according to visual analogue score (VAS), PCA opioid consumption as well as pressing frequency, sedative scores and sideeffects from 0 to 4 h, 4 to 12 h, 12 to 24 h after administration were recorded. Results Both the VAS scores at rest and motion were fewer in group SF than in group F from 0 to 4 h, 4 to 12 h after surgery (P<0.05).The PCIA pressing frequency within 24 h after surgery was lower in group SF than those in group F (P<0.05).The incidences of respiratory depression as well as nausea and vomiting in group SF were lower than those of group S (P<0.05).The degree of variation of PCIA opioid consumption in group SF was lower than group S. Conclusion With a lower incidence of sideeffects, PCIA with sufentanil can provide better postoperative analgesic efficacy than fentanyl after gynecologic surgery.And the interindividual variant degree of sufentanil consumption is lower than that of fentanyl.

    Objective To study the purification process for total flavonoids from Tengligen with macroporous adsorption resin. Methods Dynamic adsorptiondesorption was adopted to screen the optimal type of resin by measuring the adsorption ratio, eluting ratio of total flavonoids.The purification procedure was confirmed via determination of optimal loading volume and velocity, watereluting amount, eluting rate, desorption concentration and volume of ethanol. Results The AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin presented the best separating efficiency, the rate of adsorption was 84.76%, the rate of desorption was 95.51%, loading 30 mL extracts, flowing at 3 BV.h-1, with eluting agent as 8 BV purity water eluting at 4 BV.h-1, and 4 BV 70% ethanol, and eluting at 3 BV.h-1. Conclusion Total flavonoids from Tengligen can be well adsorbed and separated under the optimized conditions with AB-8 macroporous absorbent resin.

    Objective To optimize the extract process for preparing xiefei pingchuan ling granules. Methods The three extracting factors as water volume, extracting time, and frequency on the extracting process were studied by comphrehensively evaluating the yield of ephedrine hydrochloride, total anthraquinone, and extractum with orthogonal test of L9(34) method. Results The optimum extracting technologies for preparing xiefei pingchuan ling granules were that by using ten times of water, extracting three times, one hour for each time. Conclusion The optimized process is feasible and stable, which provides experimental evidences for the industrial production.

    Objective To establish a chromatographic fingerprint analysis for the quality control of Pule’an preparations. Methods HPLC method was applied to detect 27 batches of Pule’an preparations.The HPLC system consisting a C18 column (250 mm ×416 mm ,5 μm ) and a mixture of acetonitrile (A) and 0.4 % phosphoric acid (B) with gradient elution as the mobile phase was adopted.The column temperature was set at 30 ℃ and flow rate was at 1.0 mL.min- 1.The monitoring wavelength was set at 270 nm and 360 nm. Results Twenty common characteristic peaks were determined for Pule’an preparation.The similarity among 27 batches of Pule’an, including ten kinds of tablets and two kinds of capsules from different manufacturing enterprises was 0.976-1.000. Conclusion The HPLC fingerprint established is repeatable, feasible for analyzing Pule’an and which can be used to evaluate the quality of Pule’an.

    Objective To establish a HPLC fingerprint analysis for Kalimeris indica(L.) Sch-Bip. Methods The HPLC method was used with Diamonsil C18 column, and a mixture liquid of acetonitrile -0.5% formic acid as mobile phase in a gradient elution.The HPLC fingerprint for 10 batches of Kalimeris indica(L.) Sch-Bip was studied on their similarity and cluster. Results The fingerprint detection for Kalimeris indica(L.) Sch-Bip was established and herbs from different areas presented different fingerprints. Conclusion This method is reasonable and reliable for the quality control of Kalimeris indica(L.) Sch-Bip.

    Objective To establish a HPLC method for determination of related substances of compound piperaquine phosphate tablets. Methods The column was Waters Atlantis C18(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm).The mobile phase was 10 mmol.L-1 sodium 1-heptanesulfonate and 25 mmol.L-1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate equal mixture acetonitrilemethanol(53:16:31, adjusted to pH 2.5 with phosphoric acid).The flow rate was set at 0.9 mL.min-1 .The detective wavelength was at 348 nm and the column temperature was at 40 ℃. Results The two main chromatogram peaks were successfully seperated from other impurity ones; the limit of detection for piperaquine phosphate was 0.41 ng, while for sulfadoxine was 108.24 ng. Conclusion This method is simple, rapid, accurate and reliable, which is suitable for determination of the related substances of compound piperaquine phosphate tablets.

    Objective To prepare the compound ornidazole effervescent suppository and establish a method for its quality control. Methods Ornidazole was compatible with miconazole nitrate to form the effervescent suppository, the content of which were determined with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), the stability was tested. Results The preparation was stable.The method for content determination was accurate with a good linear range at the concentration of 40-200 μg.mL-1 for both ornidazole and miconazole nitrate.Their average recovery was 100.09% (RSD=0.15%), 100.02% (RSD=0.35%), respectively. Conclusion The prescription and preparation technology of compound ornidazole effervescent suppository is rational and the quality shows stable and controllable.

    Objective To establish an ultra fast liquid chromatography (UFLC) method for determining five saponins in sanqi capsule. Methods Chromatography was performed on an shimadzu C18 column (75 mm×2.0 mm, 2.2 μm) at 25 ℃.The gradient elution was acetonitrile-water at a flow rate of 0.3 mL.min-1.The detection wavelength was at 203 nm. Results The linear ranges for notoginsenoside R1, ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Re, ginsenoside Rb1 and ginsenoside Rd were 9.38-351.62 ng (R2=1), 52.11-1 954.12 ng (R2=0.999 9), 6.85-152.17 ng (R2=0.999 6), 44.99-1 687.25 ng (R2=1), 9.96-221.27 ng (R2=1), respectively.The average recoveries were 96.6% for notoginsenoside R1 (RSD=0.9%), 97.1% for ginsenoside Rg1 (RSD=1.4%), 101.0% for ginsenoside Re (RSD=1.4%), 97.9% for ginsenoside Rb1 (RSD=2.4%), 98.2% for ginsenoside Rd (RSD=1.8%), respectively (n=6). Conclusion The method is simple, rapid and suitable for determination of five saponins in sanqi capsule.

    Objective To establish a method for the content determination of linarin in qiweiqingquan granules. Methods HPLC was performed on DIONEX C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm )with column temperature at 25 ℃ and methanol-water-glacial acetic acid(52:46:2) as mobile phase .The detection wavelength was at 334 nm and the flow rate was at 0.8 mL.min-1. Results The linear range of linarin was within 0.068-0.340 μg.The average recovery rate was 99.56%,RSD=2.12%(n=5). Conclusion The method is simple, specific and repeatable for the quality control of qiweiqingquan granules.

    Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Compound Salvia Droplet Pills (CSDP) for treating angina pectoris. Methods Foreign database (Cochrane Library online edition) and Chinese database (Chinese Biomedical Database, China Academic Journal Fulltext Database of Chinese Scientific Journals, and Wanfang Digital Journal Fulltext Database) were retrieved via internet, according to Cochrane systematic review method of quality evaluation.Metaanalysis of homogeneous studies was carried out with RevMan 5.0, and descriptive qualitative analysis was performed for the data could not be merged. Results The Results showed that CSDP alleviated the onset of angina pectoris(OR=2.18, 95% CI [1.75,2.70],P<0.000 01), improved ischemic ECG(OR=2.39,95%CI [1.99,2.88],P<0.000 01), lowered cholesterol(WMD=1.31, 95% CI [1.03, 1.58],P<0.000 01) and triacylglycerol(WMD=2.05, 95%CI [1.65,2.45],P<0.000 01), and raised the heart rate variability, and presented no obvious side effects. Conclusion CSDP demonstrated curative effect on angina pectoris, and no obvious side effects, which suggest that CSDP are effective and safe for treating angina pectoris.
